Mardi Gras Celebration
Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, is a festive celebration that occurs annually. It is the day before ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent in the Christian calendar. Lent is a period of fasting, repentance, and reflection leading up to Easter Sunday. While Mardi Gras is often associated with lively parades, vibrant costumes, and indulgent partying, there are also family-friendly events and celebrations, including Mardi Gras family nights.
The family’s of St. Pius celebrated by enjoying King cake, Jambalaya and yummy treat and snacks. Everyone also enjoyed the games and activities such as ring toss, bean bag toss and so much more.
Overall, Mardi Gras family night celebrations provide a fun and festive environment where families can come together to enjoy the traditions and culture of this holiday. From colorful parades to engaging activities, these events offer something for everyone to enjoy, making lasting memories for families to cherish for years to come.
